It’s Time For Mom
Arguably one of the greatest joys in life is having children. It has been said there is no greater rush than seeing your baby for the first time. It’s a euphoric experience… and then the real work begins, not just raising your kid, but getting your body back. Many women for decades have struggled with getting their pre-pregnancy body back to no avail. Some lucky women seem to bounce back to their pre-pregnancy form in a matter of seconds after popping a kid out, but for most of us that is just not possible, no matter how great we eat or how much exercise we can squeeze into our schedules.
In cases such as these there is a new craze sweeping the nation gaining attention and un-alarming popularity. It’s called The Mommy Makeover. It’s ideal for women in good health who are done having kids. The Mommy Makeover is a term used to describe an individualized group of procedures based on each patient’s unique wants and needs, so one Mommy’s Makeover would not necessarily involve the same procedures as another Mommy’s Makeover. Generally, however, Mommy Makeover’s tend to include some variation of a Tummy Tuck, Breast Augmentation and/or Lift, Liposuction, Scar Revision and Thigh Lift.
Dr. Kayastha is a board certified plastic surgeon who serves Albany, NY and the entire Capital Region. Dr. Kayastha completed his undergraduate studies at Cornell University and graduated with distinction in all subjects. He then attended medical school at SUNY Buffalo. During his time in Buffalo he also completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at Roswell Park. Following medical school Dr. Kayastha gained a much sought after position in the Michigan State-Grand Rapids integrated plastic surgery residency. After finishing residency training Dr. Kayastha completed a one year fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Buncke Clinic in San Francisco. To round out his training before starting private practice Dr. Kayastha spent an additional 6 months learning from some of the best cosmetic surgeons in San Francisco. Dr. Kayastha is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
