Who is a Candidate for Cellulaze Cellulite Reduction?
The exact cause of cellulite is unknown, however, we know that there are several factors that can contribute to its appearance. Aging, hormones, genetics, and dramatic weight fluctuations can all affect your tissue structure, resulting in cellulite, typically on the thighs and buttocks. What Happens During Treatment with Cellulaze?
Your Cellulaze treatment will be performed with the use of local anesthesia to ensure your comfort during the process. Your treatment area will then be mapped out to indicate where the Cellulaze laser will be targeted. The Cellulaze laser fiber will be threaded through a tube-like device called and cannula, then inserted beneath the skin through tiny incisions. The tissue will then be leveled out and laser energy will be delivered to stimulate your body’s collagen production. Fat cells are liquified by the laser and gently suctioned out. This process typically takes about 1-2 hours to complete and only one treatment session is required for effective contouring and cellulite reduction.
What Results Can I Expect?
After your treatment with Cellulaze cellulite treatment, you can expect some bruising, swelling, and general discomfort in the treatment areas. You will be asked to wear a compression garment to maximize your healing process and control swelling. After a day or two, patients can return to regular activities but should avoid exercise for about two weeks.
Over the next few months, you will begin to notice your improved contour with reduced cellulite. Your results will continue to improve over the next year as your body produces more collagen and elastin for stronger, smoother appearing skin that lasts.
