Restore a More Youthful Appearance
Facial fillers are a variety of compounds that are used to restore lost volume to your face. As we age our facial skeleton or bones of our face lose volume. We also lose subcutaneous fat. These factors in addition to others make us look older. Fillers can restore volume where it has been lost to restore a more youthful look. Some are injected right down to the bony skeleton to augment volume that has been lost there. Others are injected into the subcutaneous area to fill areas where we have lost fat. Fillers can simulate the effects of a facelift hence they are often referred to as a “liquid facelift”.
