Miami, Florida with 3.90 plastic surgeons for every 100,000 residents. Who knew? Must be all that sunshine coupled with the young focus of places like South Beach that makes it prime turf for the aesthetic industry.
On to second place. You will NEVER get this one! Salt Lake City, Utah. It turns out that living at altitude with lots of UV rays and lots of sunny days every year can beat up on the skin. Also, Utah has the youngest marrying age in the nation, so mothers who are still young want to look young. Hello, tummy tuck! Salt Lake has 3.12/100,000.
L.A. comes in third, with 2.98/100,000. Cali has three cities in the top 10. The other California cities are San Jose in fourth and San Francisco in sixth. That probably surprises some people. San Fran? Isn’t all that fog good for your skin?
