Brachioplasty is a fancy term for an Arm Lift procedure which removes excess skin and/or fat from around the upper arm to create thinner, more contoured and toned arms. Often after weight loss people are left with excess sagging skin in many areas of the body which may require a whole Body Lift procedure to remove. A Body Lift procedure may include Brachioplasty.
However, sometimes, even people would otherwise be considered thin, can have excess skin or fat in their arm areas. This is mostly due to genetic pre-disposition which defines what areas of our bodies are most susceptible to gain and hold on to weight; it’s different for each person, but for some it is in the arms.
So, if you are ready to embrace with new arms, contact Dr. Kayastha for a consultation to see if Brachioplasy is right for you. Ideal candidates will have been in a stable, healthy weight for several months, be in good health and have realistic expectations. Want to know what’s realistic?
