We understand that most of our patients have been considering getting a cosmetic surgery procedure for months or even years, and it is never an easy decision. Dr. Kayastha and his team spend a significant amount of time with you to understand your unique needs and cosmetic goals. We will explain each procedure in detail to you so that you understand the unique benefits and risks of each procedure, enabling you to make a confident decision. Every procedure we offer at K Plastic Surgery is customized to suit your individual needs so that you can enjoy the results and meet your aesthetic goals.

One of the many beneficial procedures offered at K Plastic Surgery is Liposuction. It is a body contouring procedure that eliminates stubborn fatty deposits from different areas. You are not alone in your struggle with exercise-resistant fat. We get thousands of patients every year who have used liposuction to sculpt their contours for eliminating the unwanted fat.

Are you a good candidate for liposuction?

A good candidate for liposuction is healthy and at normal body weight, with only localized fat deposits in some body areas. You can get the best results from the procedure when you have a firm and elastic skin. You should not be suffering from any life-threatening disease or medical condition that could affect your healing during the recovery period.

You must understand, though, that liposuction is not a solution for obesity and cannot be used for weight loss. We offer it only to eliminate localized fat from body areas like your ankles, thighs, calves, knees, hips, buttocks, abdomen, breasts, arms, neck, chin, and cheeks. To get the optimum results from liposuction, you must choose an experienced surgeon like Dr. Kayastha who will help you get a slimmer waistline and a sculpted abdomen.

What is the liposuction procedure?

Once we have evaluated your body type and the elasticity of your skin, we will be able to determine the best technique for your liposuction procedure. Dr. Kayastha will talk to you to understand the amount of fat you wish to lose to achieve the cosmetic results you desire. During your procedure, small incisions are made in the marked area and all your incisions are made inconspicuously to ensure you do not get scars. A tumescent fluid is then injected in the area of treatment and this contains a local anesthetic which makes the area numb. A cannula is then used to break up and remove the fat. Dr. Kayastha uses a gentle technique and strict attention to detail to give you smooth and natural results.
