Satisfied Mommy Makeover Patient
Very Pleased Patient (mammaofthreeboys) (from RealSelf reviews)
I cannot begin to express how impressed I am with the breast augmentation, tummy tuck and muscle repair Dr. K has given me. I did a lot of research and had consultations with other doctors, but hands down he is the kindest and most informative of them all. I am so glad I chose Dr. K to do my surgeries. He educated me about things that months of research on the internet could not. He never made me feel rushed or pressured into making my surgery decisions. I am VERY pleased with the results. I have gained more self confidence and self esteem that I was lacking for so many years. Both Dr. K and his staff were so kind and supportive throughout my journey. Dr. K was so thorough at each one of my consultations and explained me the outcome of my appearance very clearly, which helped me make the best choice to suit my body. I am grateful for his kindness and patience. My new body is beautiful and I am completely content with the results. Dr. Kayastha thank you again for everything. I feel like a brand new woman because of you.
Regain Your Youthful Body
While babies are a blessing, the effects pregnancy can have on the body are not. Diet and exercise do not always produce the results new mothers desire. For those who struggle in the gym but long for the body they once had, a mommy makeover can help you return your body to pre-baby shape, boosting your confidence and improving your self esteem.
A mommy makeover combines popular cosmetic procedures designed to reshape and contour the body, and virtually any procedure can be included. The combination of surgeries to be used in a mommy makeover depend on your individual needs, but commonly includes a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction and breast augmentation.
Some other procedures you may consider including in your mommy makeover are a breast lift (mastoplexy), breast reduction (mammaplasty), scar revision for those who had a C-section, and a thigh lift. Dr. Kayastha’s mommy makeover for you consists of procedures custom-tailored to your individual needs to improve not only your appearance, but your self confidence, so you can concentrate on being the best mother possible.

Common Questions about a Mommy Makeover
How do I know if I am a good candidate for a mommy makeover?
A good candidate for a mommy makeover should be done having children and be in good overall health. A consultation is required to determine exactly what combination of procedures would best help you achieve your goals.
What procedures are included in a “mommy makeover”?
Mommy Makeover most commonly refers to body contouring procedures used to improve the appearance of one’s abdomen and breasts. This usually means some form of a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) and a breast lift. If additional breast volume is required, an augmentation can be added to your breast lift.
Why is it best to have mommy makeover procedures all done at one time instead of individually?
These procedures can be done in one trip to the operating room. The main advantage of this is having only one recovery period, and less time away from work and family activities compared to if you had the procedures separately.
How long after having my last baby should I wait to have a mommy makeover?
Your body should be completely recovered from pregnancy and breast feeding before considering surgery. This usually means at least six months since your delivery or since you finished breast feeding.
If I still plan to have children, should I consider a mommy makeover now?
If you plan on having more children, it is best to delay your Mommy Makeover. If you have surgery and have kids afterwards the normal changes associated with pregnancy will cause things to stretch back out and you will lose some of your results. This may mean additional surgery to regain the best results.
What is the recovery period for a mommy makeover?
Mommy Makeovers are performed in the hospital under general anesthesia. Most patients are required to spend one night in the hospital. You will be up walking the day of your surgery. At home you will be required to avoid strenuous activities for a few weeks. You will be able to do all of your normal activities of daily living like bathing and brushing your teeth right away. Activities like cleaning or anything that requires lifting should be avoided. Most patients who work at desk jobs can return to work in 2-3 weeks. Strenuous exercise is resumed at 6 weeks.
